thanks for that ziggywigs. jolly useful. now quick question that's been bothering me. last year i grew my carrots in the bath (we're posh, we have two baths, one for us, one for the carrots and yes the carrot one is outside  ). that compost has now ended up shared in various other beds (for various reasons, not least that i needed something crumbly to dig into solid clay). i'll fill the bath with new compost next season. Question: how does the carrot compost affect the other beds in terms of rotation ? thanking you. |
