I'm sure I've read a thread about making weedkiller organically (vinegar....?)but I can't find it! Please can someone kindly put me out of my misery and locate it or tell me I've been dreaming.......thankee kindly from a numpty.

Im sure it was just hot vinegar, 4P but with a warning that NOTHING will grow where youve used it for a long long time!

Thanks Sweetleaf. I want to prevent the nettles growing up from the ditch so I can see where the rats are coming from. It's useless to put anything like plastic sheeting down to cover the nettles as the rats just nest under it so hot vinegar might not be a bad idea. Surely not even rats would fancy it........and if they did, at least I could trace the rat runs. I hate rats!

Thanks LL. I think I'll have to wait for a windless day as the ditch is about 10 ft from my goats - don't think they'd appreciate the smell of vinegar!
