£3.99 each. Got two Stella cherries, a granny smiths apple and bramley apple this morning.
Lord alone knows where I'm going to plant them !
These haven't been advertised on-line, but people have been talking about them, so I popped down to my local store this morning. They right by the front door.
;D

Oh Rita! You just thanked me for the expanation! It's not 'how big do 'Brambleys' grow. It's what rootstock is that Brambley grafted to. That is what will determine it's size.

Yes Sleepy I know - but I wanted to know how big mrskp's Bramley will get - it surely says the ultimate size on the label. Perhaps I should have asked mrskp what is the rootstock?

rootstock, bootstock, ............................. how am i to know ...... ah yes, read the label ...... hang on ..................
erm ......."Is dependant on pruning and training. 6'-8' ".
I guess if i didn't do either, it could be a giant. No mention of rootstock on the label. lol.
Cherries - Can grow to over 10' (that's handy ! lol)
Granny Smith's - Same as the Bramley's.
Now I've read the labels and seen the cherries are self-pollinating, I might take one back and change it for something else, they have plums too I understand.
They're currently standing at about 4.5' tall and look pretty healthy. They're a bargain until I figure out I'm going to have to spend a fortune on extras like stakes and thingies lol.
Oh and if you're interested they come with a EC Plant Passport.
;D
