OH is getting well into my seed/vegetable plans and has made some suggestions for other things we could grow. Has anyone successfully grown daikon (radish) or pak choi?

I did spicy oriental mixed leaf salad last year that had Pak Choi in - it's very nice and ideal for LP's veggie bed as it pops up quickly  LLx |

Will it grow in shade then? OH wanted it because he's well into oriental cooking (poor me ;D ) and he's said that he'll grow the daikon (yer right - I believe him!). He wants to do more Japanese cooking this year.

Oh I didn't look there. I've saved it to my faves for next time I want to order seeds - thanks for that GH. I'll start with the two OH wants and see how we get on before I get too excited - I'm already struggling to work out where I'm going to grow all these vegetables!!
