I'm going to pull out the worst/ most knackered of the raised beds , leave my asparagus as it is and dig the whole lot over....then I'll have a replan. Sigh....the whole veggie garden is in a state so it can't look any worse....

OH made me get rid of the old wooden compo bin sections that had started to rot, those stackable sections like you can use for raised beds, well he thinks I got rid but I broke them up and saved them for laying on the gdn to walk on when needed ;D

Did you manage to make any progress this weekend 4P. I planted some garlic in one of the small raised beds, 1st planting in my new project ;D ;D, well other than the Snowdrops in the the small border in the middle of the veg area.

Evening Chuckles, how you? The veggie garden is better than expected actually as OH has lent a hand out of the blue! He's dismantled two beds and dug them over and is making noises about a path.......also, my garlic, broad beans and unnamed greens (I like a surprise , can't remember what they are...) are all growing pretty well. So I'm further on than I planned. Which is nice. How are your lovely raised beds? I bet you've got them all planned to the nearest inch!

Um, no! We are entirely at a standstill...... School garden, work, seed sowing and an iffy back have made everything grind to a halt. I think I shall have to dig on a "need to get some plants in" basis! Now yours, on the other hand, is getting on fabulously......
