The eye really does have bearings on what we eat. I love the Romanescue Caulis but I doubt I could cope with a bright orange or dark violet cauli...dunno.
I cannot eat white beetroot - they look like eyeballs to me and my OH refuses to eat coloured carrots. I love yellow toms but I was given a black tom last year and I couldn't eat it....silly really I suppose.

Your right there RF its all in the eyes. I love the Black Toms but my eyes and brain tell me not to eat green ones except in chutney ;D Beans are green, Cauli is white and Carrots are orange, but I have tried the stripe Beetroot red/white and it was not bad even though I dont eat Beetroot.
