I have never been keen on tomato soup, horrible memories as a child or that thick orange gloop.
However, with a phenomenal crop of tomatoes this year, it was inevitable that I should try some soup, and the result has stunned everyone, including me !
All I did was to pulp down a large quantity of tomatoes, any varieties, including yellow, and the odd green one doesn't matter. After blitzing with a hand blender to smooth it, I added milk and natural yoghurt, and salt and pepper to taste ...
Another taste experience to add to my catalogue ...
