Why is it that manufacturers have to change the way they make things. Whats not the same for you ? ? ? For me , McVitties Ginger Biscuits the best dunkers in the whole world IMO. I've started buying them again after not having them for several years. Well how disapointing, they are not the same Not as hard in texture, not as strong in taste and they go soft quick after dunking ......if your not quick from mug to mouth it's all down your jumper or splash it's in your tea and you have tea down your jumper

Chuckles...the best thing to do with ginger nuts is to open the packet and leave them out for a few days....they go all soft and are gorgeous. Bourbon creams are the best dunkers by a country mile (IMHO) or chocolate chip cookies....small ones that you can dunk and then fit the whole biscuit in your mouth

I just pinched a couple of tutie fruities (sp?) from one of the girls in A&E, I haven't had these for years. I can safely say they are still as good as ever! ;D

OOo yes Chuckles I used to eat these - there were many flavours; I used to like the Mint ones but I always remember they were covered in a huge lump of chokky

Vimto. Vimto is not the same as I remember it when I was a child. Mum would always give us a hot vimto when we were 'off colour'. And it was sweet and tart and gorgeous. Now it's just sweet.
