Does anyone have any gluten & dairy free recipes they would like to share? Anything would be appreciated. Janet.

Try this. It came from a lady who used to be in my gardening group and is delicious. Make it the day before you eat it so the flavours develop.
STEPHANIE'S SWISS POPPY SEED CAKE
150g butter 100g caster sugar 5 eggs, separated 2tbs caster sugar 1tbs baking powder 100g poppy seed 200g ground almonds
Heat the oven to 180C. Grease and line a 1kg loaf tin.
Beat the butter and first sugar till light and creamy, then whisk in the egg yolks. Add the poppy seeds and ground almonds and mix well. The mixture may feel stiff at this stage. Don't worry.
With a clean whisk, beat the egg whites till fairly firm then beat in the extra 2tbs of sugar and the baking powder plus a pinch of salt. Fold the egg whites into the butter mixture.
Pour into the tin and bake for about 60 minutes.
Serve sliced. No butter needed.

This is quite good, there are lots of different versions around - Nigella Lawson uses Clementines and I've seen a Lemon one somewhere.
ORANGE AND ALMOND CAKE 3 medium oranges 6 eggs, separated 225g caster sugar 200g ground almonds 1 tsp baking powder Wash the oranges and place them, whole and unpeeled in a saucepan of water bring to the boil. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours or until soft, adding more water when necessary. Drain the oranges, cut into quarters, discard any major pips, process to a pulp in the food processor, then cool. Heat oven to 180C. Beat the egg yolks and sugar together in a large bowl until pale. Beat in the oranges, almonds and baking powder. Beat the egg whites to the soft peak stage and fold into the mixture. Pour into a 23cm springform cake tin and bake for 1 hour, until firm to the touch (cover with a loose sheet of foil if over-browning). Cool in the tin. Dust with icing sugar to serve.

I've got a nice cherry almond cake recipe if you want it but it does contain eggs.
And I've got a lovely Chocolate Mousse cake recipe but it has eggs in it too.
And I've got an "egg-free, dairy-free, nut-free cake" that you could try with gluten-free flour, but I've only used "normal" flour so far.
Let me know if you are interested in any of the above!

I'll post them individually in new threads in case other people want them - hope that's ok!
