Hi Just been catching up with a few threads and I see that some of you are curry lovers. If you like curry, I can THOROUGHLY recommend this website. www.spicebox.co.uk/The first shop was opened in my hometown a good few years ago now and the curries are so good, they've just gone from strength to strength (if you'll pardon the pun !) . They really are easy to make and are absolutely delicious. Regards FA x

Hi FA
I'm lucky enough to have a Rafi's Spice Box in York, I gather it's the son up here and the parents that started the first one in Sudbury!! Anyhow, I agree with you - the curries are absolutely delicious and easy to make ;D I
BTW - I'm down in Suffolk in 2 weeks, but it's only a quick flying visit, so your garden is safe for now!!
Best Wishes GH

Yes I am a bit nervous about using credit online too. When it comes to curries, I am a bit spoilt, living in Coventry, which has benefitted from the Birmingham balti explosion. For those that are unaware, the range of quality low price food is fabulous, from supermarkets and small takeaways, as well as the noted restaurants. My social nightlife consists almost exclusively of meals out, essentially curries

This site is fantastic.......only one doubt.........is it secure enough to give credit card details etc ?? S xx I would say that yes the site is secure. I have just placed a 'test' order, and on reaching the checkout page, the first part of the url has changed from http to https indicating a secure site. There is also the small yellow padlock symbol at bottom right, which if you hover your mouse over it confirms that the site is using 128-bit security (the same as Lloyds TSB Online banking). Double clicking on the padlock reveals details of the site's security certificate.

Thanks Spruance
Can't recommend one Snowy because they're all good and I don't know what your tastes are. However, I can say that they are delicious and I'm sure if you order one that suits your tastes, you will be impressed.

The guy in the shop recommends you make the curry one day and eat it the next - it lets the flavours infuse. I'm sure it'll say it on the pack when it arrives!! BTW if you've ordered more than one pack you can freeze it for upto 6 months. Enjoy ;D

I always think that chilli and other spicey food always tastes better the next day! I have got into the habit of cooking large quantities of curry sauce and freezing it off. For T tonight (sorry if this is cross threading !) we had chicken with pumpkin curry sauce, made LAST year, with a few extra ingredients, and extra chillies for me, also frozen off the allotment. Not up to restaurant standards, but still good curry ... I made 6 gallons of pumpkin curry last year, and 4 of green tomato curry this summer. Proof that we like curry?
