I don't usually soak mine before cooking - I either get the sort that needs frying in butter first, or bog standard cous cous that I cook in vegetable stock or chicken stock to add flavour. And I often add stuff like garlic and herbs.
Peppers, mushrooms, sweetcorn, bits of flaked tuna, chopped onions, chopped chicken...... loads of things you can add to cous cous.
Or have it fairly plain with a tuna steak, roasted peppers and fried halumi
How come you've got tons of cous cous? ;D

And adding some tomato paste is also nice.

Funny story Plocket ! I bought a big bag. Then i took my daughters to someones birthday party from her class. Rather than go home (a 10 minute walk), i popped in to see an old girly friend who i hadn't seen for ages and lived next door but one to my daughters party. We got talking about cooking and i mentioned cous cous.....so she produced a big bag of it explaining that she hated the stuff and do i want the stuff.....so i took it. I went to pick my daughter up....cous cous in hand only for the lady in the house to ask me if i wanted some more as she has some and hates the stuff So i have enough to tarmac the front drive with now !!!

Well it's good for you Andy! And it usually keeps for a while so make sure you use the packet with the shortest use-by date first!!! ;D
I'm sure if you google cous cous receipes you'll get more ideas, and there might even be suggestions on the packets!
