I don't know if this recipe has been done before, if so i am sorry, , but you do need to try this cake it's very tasty
you need 250g sugar 125g butter 2 eggs 1 tin condensed tomato soup 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda 120g plain flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp mixed spice 180g raisins 100g walnut pieces [optional] some icing sugar to dust.
method
put butter and sugar in a large bowl, using an electric whisk[ or manual one if you don't have one] cream the butter and sugar until it is light and fluffy, beat in the eggs, tomato soup and bicarb. beat until it is all mixed together. using a sieve, add flour, baking powder and mixed spices and give it a really good mix.
finally stir in the raisins and walnuts [remember if you or your family has nut allergy don't add nuts,]
pour the mixture into a cake tin, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and put the cake in the oven for about 45 minutes or until cooked, take out and leave to cool on cooling rack when cooled sprinkle icing sugar over the top.
