Being an extremely nosey person I would love to peek inside your Kitchens I loved the Thread (think F-A set it up) Show us your Office/Computer and from the Beeb, Show Us Your Shed - go on be devils - here is mine - I know it looks like I never cook but I put everything away in cupboards every night- very tidy person ;D    |

I am a very untidy person by contrast, Jenny, and that's why you will never see pictures of my kitchen posted on here! Yours is beautiful - mine is a total clutter of newspapers, Barbies and assorted kids rubbish and cats everywhere.........oh dear.....I think the polite word is "homey"....  |

Oh but I love homey kitchens I wish mine were more so but then there is only me  - do post some 4P and April wait to see yours - I do have two dog beds in the kitchen but dont think they are visible |

That looks a lovely space to cook in and spend time Jenny. I'm tidy too, always feel I should apologise for that nowadays. I don't mind a mess when I'm baking or when I am playing with my wee grandson, but I like to clear away afterwards. For you, a photo will follow  BTW........I admire those who can live in clutter, but I was born tidy and cannot fight it |

Mine's a bit more "homey" too. This pic shows Katie emptying the diswasher before it gets refilled and all stuff on the sides as i'm cooking a leg of lamb for a roast tonight.  |

4PG all that floor space, so tidy, not sure what you mean by untidy it looks OK to me - I have to keep my kitchen tidy and put stuff away otherwise the dogs would get it Andy that leg of lamb looks nummy; I can see it has a golden top to it - only 3pm and making me feel hungry Just waiting for April ;D and Plocket of course the Domestic Goddess and anyone else that is brave enough |

OMG NOOO!!! I couldn't possibly post you a piccy - homely? HAHAHAHAHA!!! We've got quite a big kitchen but it's L shaped so diffiult to photograph (well that's my excuse!). The worktops are covered in stuff because despite having LOADS of cupboards, the kitchen is too small for us!!! ;D Oh and I WANT 4P's kitchen  |

Jenny, my kitchen puts me to shame. I knew you would have a tidy one with sparkling white units. Even though I have only been at the house ju st over a year, my kitchen reflects my slapdash nature. Hereis mine; photo taken in July the day of my youngest son's school prom. I was chasing him with the camera as H didn't want to be filmed.   PJ |

Oh we use the same washing up liquid PJ I would love a floor like yours; it is wood or lino My washing machine kept flooding a while ago and my lino has buckled and looks a bit of a mess The white cupboards were a mistake really cos they show all the marks and if food drips down them you have to clean the whole bloomin unit and then that looks so white makes the others look yellowey so you have to then clean the whole blasted lot of them |

Hi Jenny My kitchen floor is laminate wood, looks a bit tacky in think. The floor is a little a little buckled under the fridge where we had a flood. I do like my kitchen units though, they are solid wood, the work surfaces are granite and we have a butler sink. The only real disadvantage is very small draining board. This means my OH is adept at loading the dishwasher. If I load it, he opens it and checks it is correct and promptly takes things out and loads it again himself! PJ |

I have no idea why I'm doing this, Jenny! Just because you asked me too, I expect...... My kitchen is my dining room too so is quite big. I have tried for years to get my Oh and kids to put things away and not simply dump things in every empty space......but they always do. I've just given up trying now! I live in a converted barn as you can see. Unusually there are no cats about and our dog is out on a walk with OH. It was a really bright sunny day today so they are not very good pictures either. Is anyone's else's kitchen this untidy?   Your kitchen is wonderful 4P - not as I imagined it though ......... for some reason. |

Thanks but it's not, Rita! The sunlight makes it look quite shiny doesn't it?? In reality there are spiders and their webs in all the beams, the dog's hairs are flying about like tumble weed and the worktops are cluttered with complete yuck! I have to say - it looks better in the pictures...... ;D I'd quite like to live in that kitchen.... |
