www.nationaleatingoutweek.com/contents3.htmlSo what's your poison down at the local tandoori ? For me, i like sweet, creamy and fairly spicy....a lamb or chicken Dhansak fits the bill pretty well with a peshwari naan and a big bottle of Cobra Discuss

Even though I don't mind spices I stick with my fave which is Korma, usually chicken. However, we haven't been to an Indian for aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaages!

Normally I start off with onion bajees, then have tandori chicken passanda with pilau rice - delish!!!
Unfortunately our fave take-away closed down recently but there's another nice restaurant in town - they don't do tandori chicken passanda.
Did you see on the news that Prince William just turned up at a curry house last night? The owner on the news was well chuffed ;D

For gawd's sake nooo one mention this to Mrs C. She'll get seriously over excited and I'll have to deal with the consequences. To her it is already National Curry Lifetime rather than week.
There is not a Punjabi, Rajastani or even Bihar dish she has not inflicted upon me......
Mind you her signature dish is an absolutely amazing prawn concoction in the Goan style.
We almost NEVER eat "Indian" outside of the house (it's not authentic) and when we do it always something (off the menu) that is what very special the chef would cook for his family given the ingredients and funds available. This usually produces either Kashmiri or Bangladeshi food, both of which are really really good......
