Hi all Does anyone know whether you can buy replacement covers for the 3 tiered plastic ones? Mine split down the seams of the zips last night, and as per usual I didn't keep any 'instruction' leaflets, so can't remember if there was a contact address to buy them. Many thanks WB

Many thanks WB Yes...what size is it though? Generally, they are literally a couple (as in two) quid less than buying an entire new one. This somewhat peeves me. But the old one can be used as staging I suppose. Someone on the web posted that the "In-store" chain have replacement covers, but I have no idea who/where they are. WB - Given I have no idea how many dozens of miles & hours you would have to travel to locate a decent bargain....can I suggest you check out www.robertdyas.co.uk They normally have some at £12.99 and I have a free delivery code. Normally, I would post a direct link and the code, but am having internet problems this evening.

It will probably cost nearly as much for a replacement cover as a new one WB As we are heading for much warmer weather, perhaps a job with bodge tape might be in order.

Hi Jlottie - this happened to me, it's infuriating. If the rip is only small you can patch it up with plumber's tape, but it will rip again. A more lasting solution is this: cut a piece of bubblewrap about three inches wider on either side, and about six inches longer, than the zip flap. Use plumber's tape or similar to attach one end of the bubblewrap to the 'roof' of the mini-gh. You now effectively have a double flap in the front. You can roll them up together. When closing the mini-gh, just let down the two flaps, and secure the bubblewrap flap to the main part of the PVC at the bottom using clothes pegs. This happened to me shortly after I got my mini-gh, and the bubblewrap solution has been working for nearly two months, including in really cold weather. Cheers ...

Hi CC - I have just C/P your reply as I have three of these greenhouses and up to now nothing has happened but I haven't heard of being able to get replacements here in Germany.
Thanks for the tip with the bubble wrap.

Hi WB - just wondering, did you go the bubblewrap route? I have to get a 'replacement replacement', since some neighbourhood cats ripped the bubblewrap ... cheers ...

I bought a replacement cover for the 3 tiered one very reasonably at my local GC. It was only about 1/3 the cost of the whole thing and has survived this winter fine
