Hello all I took some nemesia cuttings last year and when the weather started to turn moved the pot into my conservatory. They've been a bit neglected, but pick up ok when I water them. However today they looked like they were dying, even though they are moist,on closer inspection I noticed an earwig, which has now buried itself under the surface and when I popped them out of the pot there were about 3 earthworms in there! What should I do for the best? I don't really like the idea of leaving them inside full of worms. I've popped the pot outside, but I'm worried about them surviving the weather. Any advice folks?

I would immerse the roots in water. The earwig and the worms should come out then - to breathe. You can they relocate the wildlife outside. Then pot up the plant and keep indoors.

Thanks Sleepy, I'll try that, but they are looking very bedraggled. It was so sudden. It's so annoying, I've been snipping their heads of and potting them up for ages, they were getting quite bushy and I thought I'd have loads to plant out. Amazing how the creepies have survived, especially the worms. The pot has been indoors for months and left to dry out at times. It's only a little one too! I shall have a bash now.
