Bought a cactus and a succulent at BBG Cactus is E enopla and the succulent is K Tomentosa ....what is the E and the K short for so I can look them up properly? Tomentosa is quite strokable, reminds me of lambs ears.

Yup, found it. I'll see what I can do.
The Hatiora can be found at some GC's but I'll see if there is a Nursery that has them.

SL, done a bit of research at lunchtime. E. pectinatus v. rectispinus has now been renamed as E. dasyacanthus. I have to say that I didn't recognise this variety of pectinatus. Have a look at www.echinocereus.de/galerie/index.htm and tell me what you think.

SL, do you want Rhipsalis grandiflora? I've plenty of cuttings and it's dead easy. Can flower at Xmas. See home.clear.net.nz/pages/grant.bayley/rhip.htmlAlso google Kalanchoe manginii. I have a large plant of this and it is quite spectacular early spring. Dead easy as well. I can let you have cuttings. Both are hanging plants.
