Good point CPB ;D
Keith, I sold quite a few plants before we moved - the removal men wouldn't have thanked me for giving them the task of packing such prickly plants!!

Good point CPB ;D Keith, I sold quite a few plants before we moved - the removal men wouldn't have thanked me for giving them the task of packing such prickly plants!! True, but you could have always offered to do them yourself! Sometimes I think it is best to anyway, after some of the experiences I have had. When we moved from Waterlooville to Whitstable, they brought a van, just for the plants. It was like a big camper van, specifically designed for the purpose, I think. They were great, plants packed well and arrived safely. But other times it has been horrendous! We have had indoor plants packed with outdoor ones in dustbins with childrens toys on top. We lost a streptocarpus that way. I had a baby dwarf coco palm left in a dark van overnight in the depths of winter. We lost it!! I have never seen a small one again. I like buying small and growing big! I could go on, but I would be writing a story and it's late!! Keith

I bet she moved it ;D I can immagine not wanting to part with cacti you've had for years, or other well nurtured plants. I would not like to loose my Paphiopedilum Orchids. And I would not leave it to the movers to get them to a new home safely.
