YES! I think they're really beautiful but I have nowhere to grow them that won't be swamped by other plants. I saw a gorgeous deep blue one for sale the other week - soooooo tempting.......... I'll have to look at your lovely pics of them instead Isabella..X
PS Your Basil plant is HOOOGE now - what a lovely plant it is too. Cheers!

Thankyou 4pygmies - I was beginning to think I was the only one who loved Streptocarpus I am glad your plant is looking good - the 2 cuttings I had to take off to get it into the pringles box have rooted ;D So I now have 3 plants ;D

Do you find that yours is very thirsty Isabella? I am having to water mine twice a day despite the fact that I've repotted it twice! It's worth it though - I love the purple on it. I am beginning to wonder if I can re arrange my GH so I can grow some flowers in it like you do - I seem to be getting a much wider range of plants since I started using these MB's! I'll have to be much more disciplined about looking after them though...... just finding enough time is the problem......

Me too - there's something about clems! ;D Wouldn't the leaves wilt and die in the post Isabella? It's a lovely offer but I'm a bit worried that the leaves wouldn't be viable by the time they arrived. How many streps have you got then? It looks as though you have MASSES! And which is your fave?

Yes Pam Plocket is responsible for a lot of new Clemaholics - has anyone been to the Clem Garden Centre think called Caddicks near Warrington I would have to make sure I left plastic behind and only took minimum of cash - unless they would take an IOU if desperate

Hi JW. I've been to Caddicks & was very impressed. There collection was amazing. It was just polytunnel after polytunnel full of clematis. They were very healthy to. Was it you who mentioned Oakwood Nurseries at Ollerton a while ago? Janet.

I fell in love with and bought a streptocarpus from Tatton last week. It's a bi-coloured purple one called Katie. Gorgeous. I'm not really in to flowering houseplants but this one is a real beauty!
