No, I don't mean in your personal life! I can't either manage my bookmarks or update my profile. I keep getting a 'runtime error' message. Is it something to do with my computer?

Hi Skarloey
I am not sure what is going on but at one point the board seemed to stop - even the smilies had stopped smiling................
I am working with three windows open and typing everything in Word first and then c/p things.
It will start getting better soon - I hope - it normally does.

Not that it is any consolation, but everything is working OK for me. (Windows XP & IE6). I agree though that the board has slowed up, even whilst I have been online this afternoon. Proboards support shows nothing out of the ordinary so it is probably due to network load again. It should clear up on its own after a while.

My computer has been playing up for 3 days so oh went into settings and put computer back a few days, so far we've had no more problems. We were having problems with the net it kept on putting pop ups and anti virus links to get you to download them, not sure why they were still coming through even though we have got all the protection to block them, computer has also been slow when loading up.

I hope that those of you with "slow" computers do defragment them from time to time, and clear out your temporary internet files daily I have a popup blocker in my google tool bar - but allow popups for GWD, Tescos etc. System restore is the best way to put your settings back if you have messed everything up

Well, I did kind of wonder - didn't think domestic engineering sounded like the sort of thing they did PhDs in in 1973 ... You could probably do one in it now though
