Nearly time to clear out the greenhouse & clean it up. I usually use Jeyes fluid, has anyone any other ideas for clearing up after this season of mildew & mould?

Oh yes the dreaded GH cleaning. To be honest I normally just give the staging a good brush off and the main area has a good sweep out, get rid of all the bits that seem to accumulate. I then just wash off the glass and Ali frame work with hot water with a drop of bleach in it, just using softish hand brush. Same on the glass outside. It then gets a good hose out afterwards. If I'm being really particular I use one of those rubber window thingies to scrape off the excess water

Well time is ticking on and I looked in the GH yesterday to see what could go to the compo bin ready for a clean out. I still have loads of toms and peppers still to come and I can't see me getting rid of them just yet. May have to miss out on a good Autumn clean this year. Has anyone done it yet

Not yet Chuckles. Plan to do it week after next. I've got the week off and want to get a few gardening jobs done then.

Is it this week your off Shrub, don't forget GH is on your lost of jobs to do . I made the effort today and cleared all my clutter out of the GH. The clutter I had in there was horrendous and I don't mean plants. I tend to use the GH as a potting area when the weather is off so had small buckets of gravel, sand, compo, cat litter, various empty plastic pots, bag of Ericascious compo, empty seed trays and all manner of bits and bobs They all got moved out and into the shed, thats another story After a good sweep out, all thats in there now are 6 Toms and 6 Pepper plants, heated prop and 3 non heated props that have seeds in. Could very well get a good clean yet, maybe I'll do below the staging and floor and just give the glass a wipe this year
