I need a new pane of glass for my greenhouse. Can I get them from my local DIY store / GC or do I have to go to a glass company for it ?
I know I could find this out for myself but it's just easier this way...... ;D

We got ours from a glass shop in Bentley, bit of a long way for you to travel tho for a bit of glass! Why not google it - should give you names of local suppliers, Lazy toad

If you go to a glass shop, they'll usually cut it for you to size and probably sand the sides down for you to stop you chopping your fingers off.
As far as i know, GC's and DIY shops don't sell GH glass

I'd agree with karlslass and andy, FA, a glazier is probably your best option. And safest.

Some builders merchants cut glass too FA, and hardware shops, if you have such a rare thing need you. Our lovely local village one shut 2 years ago - I still miss it....the owners retired and no one wanted to buy the business. Such a shame, it was a brilliant shop and very busy. Sorry! Well I'll PM you for the dimensions next time we visit 4P...maybe I can twist OH's arm into cutting you a piece...then you'll have an excuse for visiting 4P too ;D

I have FINALLY got round to ordering a replacement pane for my greenhouse. It's only been broken since about March........ I've decided to go for a polycarbonate replacement pane. It's supposed to be unbreakable and easy to cut to size. We'll see......! FA x
