Hi all I have a lovely little calamondin, and the fruit is just beginning to drop. What I'm wondering is, should I remove the whole branch that the fruit is attatched to? They don't seem to carry any leaves

I didn't think it was necessary to prune these RM. Guess you could light prune to keep it in shape but removing a branch sounds a bit drastic to me I could be wrong. Did you not get any instructions with it.

Well I have heard that you can train these trees as a bonsai, but I wouldn't and I don't think that I would chop a branch off either. As Chuckles says, perhaps you can give it a trim to keep it in shape as they do grow fairly quickly I believe.

Ok, I just wondered if the 'branch' was like a truss with tomatoes, 'cause it's thinner and carries no leaves. I'll leave it and see what happens
