I have 2 lemon and 1 orange trees. Will they be ok out in the greenhouse overwinter or should I fetch them into the house??? No heating in the GH and it doesn't get a lot of sun through the winter. My Olive tree survived last winter in there so I'm thinking they should be OK. Any advise please.

I wouldn't put them in a greenhouse without any heat through the Winter karlslass- they wouldn't like it. Mine are in the greenhouse for the Winter but we have an electric heater in there. I would bring them into the brightest part of your house if possible. Olives are hardeier that citrus plants - hope this helps

Bless you Isabella, Will bring my babies in directly they shall have pride of place on the (empty) fireplace in the front room (we dont use that room much) where they will catch the morning sun. How about watering?? I usually let them dry out a bit in between waterings is that ok ? I also have some winter feed, is that any good or have I been caught with a gimmick (it was not exactly cheap !) Why cant I find any books on Citrus trees.

It smells just gorgeous. I am always pinching leaves off the lemon one, that seems to smell stronger than the orange tree. Will have to watch it or I will have a lemon twig ;D

Right then - excuse me if I am being thick here just wanting to check. Lots off the flowers on the orange tree have fallen off now but I noticed that quite a few leaves are dropping too. Also only a few of the places where the flowers were have little green bud thingys on them. I expect the flowers are meant to drop off (!) and leave buds behind but there doesn't seem to be many and why are the leaves dropping the remaining leaves still look really glossy and healthy could it be just natural selection This is only a mild panic, I will really go off on one if it all goes brown ;D
