Thanks Roan, it is Mother Natures pallette - nasturtiums are self seeders from last year and I had no idea what colours the petunias would be when they went in x Tig

I love it when runner beans look like this - the flowers are still so pretty but there is the promise of lots of little beans coming too

Everything is giving 100% at the moment - tried to catch things at their best before the heat gets them! Pelargonium Velvet Red - deinitely lives up to its name My hardy fuchsia also in full swing .. Crocosmia (orange one, have no idea if it has a 'proper' name) And more peachy than orange - potentilla with a peachy white godetia .. x Tig

Mmmmm these hot colours are lovely! Remember I said I'd planted Bessera Elegance? Well this is how it looks now: And this is one of my Day Lilies - either Red Suspenders or Long Stocking (I thought the names would go well together! ;D ):

I thought the Bessera Elegans would be more of a reddish colour for some reason Plocket Very dainty little flowers anyway

They are redder in real life - the sunlight has bleached them in the photo.

Let them Tig they are gorgeous. Or beg some seeds of Plocket and see how long they take to get to that state of delicate but bright beauty.

I'd be delighted to collect seeds Be aware that they are tender though and need to be kept frost free over winter.

Do you have any of the other colours? I used to have them in my previous garden but haven't put any in my present garden. I wish the bloom lasted longer, but as you say lots of bulbs. I guess they behave a bit like day lilies as far as flowering goes. Much preetier than day lilies though.

Hi Chuckles. Yes, it's scented; lovely fragrance and fairly strong. It's a trumpet lily but I've forgotten its name. I'll see if I can find it's nursery tag somewhere in the wilds of my garage. I doubt it though. I bought it 2 seasons ago.

TT re the tigridia, I have them in yellow, lemon, orange and white - did you see the one RF posted on the Pink thread recently? That was lovely and didn't have any central markings! I don't know about prettier than day lilies - those you have look stunning! And like Chuckles I too would like to know if the orange lily is scented, it is indeed a gorgeous colour ;D
