Jenny, that's the most gorgeous colour! A couple of orange and red things here: Crocosmia ... Fuchsia Thalia ... ... and an unamed cutting-grown fuchsia which actually looks even better in bud than in flower:

Pretty!!! Which reminds me I must check the garden later coz I'm sure I spotted a rogue fuchsia growing there. I had a fuchsia in the garden which I dug up a couple of years ago. Then I put annuals in last year to fill the gap while the other things filled out a bit, and I'm sure I spotted a little rogue fuchsia coming up.

Oh crumbs I've no idea! I guess the wild ones do, and perhaps near relatives of them but I don't think the more cultivated ones do - most people take cuttings of them to propagate onwards. I probably left a bit of root in the ground or something - that's more likely I think!

To be honest with you, they're so easy to grow I won't be bothering with cuttings and I always have plenty of new seed left over at the end of the season
Only one LFC player??? Bet it's Benayoun...

Never done Dahlia from seed. I overwineter my tubers and re grow them (and take cuttings ;D), that way I have enough dahlia for the garden and the allotment! No it isn't Yossi
