They are cracking asters Jean, almost a little chrysanth I am reet chuffed with my find in the garden today ... and loads of buds to come! ;D x Tig

They are really pretty and the flowers get darker as they mature. Dutchy had a lovely one a couple of years ago over her shed I think.

This is an under-rated border annual in my opinion - it is still providing a good splash of vibrant colour - Clary x Tig

I bought three this year, Empress Eugenie, which is scented and has flowered, Purple Haze & Violacea have put on good growth but no flowers, but I'm hopeful for next year if they survive the winter outside. My original ordinary one (grown from seed) always seems to manage and thats in a container

Pam gets hers late September ... mine arrive mid-November! Thankful we have not had a severe frost yet or wouldn't have seen any flowers on them x Tig
