one of our lily plants has finally bloomed, scarlet red, absouletley gorgeous, i will ty to put a couple of pics on later this wek when i have the chance,
been waiting for it for weeks, watching the buds go from green to yellowish then a gorgeous red colour, before finally, 2 yesterday and 1 today, they open up and are quite stunning, me and the mrs are well chuffed as they were not even 6 inches high when we bought the plant.
we have a yellow which is still in bud, small green buds, but it looks so healthy tho it shot up and then produced green buds and stopped, nothing for weeks.
by the way they are called, 'red lily' and 'yellow lily'
thats on the tags you get with them.

highly scientific. a bit like my mum's "large yellow marigold", when it turned out to be Naughty Marietta - hardly an accurate description ;D
can't wait to see the pics. CG.

I'm not a great fan of lilies but the colour of those is magnificent Concrete! Well done you!
(You've got a really suspicious looking snail in with them though!)

yes a lovely colour CG. mine similar to that were done and dusted a long time ago, and were much taller. I like your short version though.
