aw, you've just cheered up cheerypeabrain! Excellent photographs C3D...you are talented at this photography lark. I see the opportunities but always scare everything off before I can take a decent shot. I need a good telephoto lens (and a bit of talent/experience) I take pics of flowers...they're easier as they don't generally fly away....
The only birds we get in our garden are wood pigeons & collared doves. We had song and mistle thrushes, robins, house sparrows, wrens, blackbirds, starlings, coal tits, blue tits, great tits (that's a LOT of tits) greenfinches and goldfinches.....that was in the spring and early summer..the magpies, local cats and squirrels scared them all away gradually...shame. I suppose that now they've raised their young they're stocking up on the fruits of autumn...so they don't need my bird-table at the moment.

We're getting the migration birds now in huge numbers. Some will pass through and others will be with us until March or so. They are going through the seed and nut mixes at a very fast rate. Wonder if they know they need to be extra fattened up this year? ChickaDDD Awwwwww CPB. Your garden photographs are fantastic! Those cheer up my little chickadee brain. (Not to mention the garden envy too . )
