Hi Plocket Love the picture. I bought one a while ago and never got round to planting it. Should I do it now or wait till Spring? Also whats the best site for this one and is a container an option? Thanks in advance P x

Hia Plantaholic! Naughty girl - your poor Freckles!!! I'd get it planted asap and although it would do ok in a large container (at least 18inches deep and 18inches diameter) it would be happiest in the ground. It wants to be in full sun if possible and don't forget to keep an eye out for slugs and snails while it's getting established!!! Px

Cheers P I bet you feel like this Story behind it or my excuse is -- It was a bargain poorly plant and I thought it was going to die so I left it alone and now it appears to have recovered and is sprouting fresh green growth. ;D So I shall plant it somewhere sunny straight away Px

Hia Plantaholic! Not really - I was just playing! I've got a couple of clems that I really must get around to planting too ;D (Don't tell FA though!!!) It certainly sounds like a happy little plant now so yes I'd make it even happier and plant it in a sunny spot. Keep an eye out for slugs and snails remember, although mine doesn't seem as prone to them as other clematis, and keep it fed and watered. If you plant it now it will have a chance to get established before winter starts. Good luck, and keep me posted! Px
