Lovely Rose Tig. Thanks for the nominations folks. Chuckles, I don't think my paeony is either of the ones you linked me to. But is has a lovely delicate fragrance. Less powerful than most roses but long lasting, if you see what I mean. You can keep on sniffing it (close up) without losing the scent like you do with some flowers.

Lovely Tig - I adore white in the garden - I really have to make a conscience effort to get something that is another colour.

Beautiful little pic scarecrow - I tried LotV a few years back but must have put them in the wrong place - complete no show. Must try them again now I have a few different areas of the garden sorted.

That's unusual Plocket. Do you know its name? Here's one from the open gardens last Sun. Couldn't decide whether to put it in yellow, orange and red or here. I think the overall effect is a creamy yellow so I put it here!

It's Digitalis Lanata Supa, according to the label that I've just found That's a lovely rose btw

Thanks Plocket. I may look for one of those. I like Digitalis in variety. And, while i love most Roses, I have a special preference for single ones (They're easier to paint for a start!)

I think we have similar tastes Supa - I like the simple roses (Rose of Picardy is one of the faves that we have) and I like Digitalis in variety. The easy to come by ones seem so blousey sometimes!!

Sorry but the name has escaped me for the moment but its just a lovely delicate flower and I have a piece that broke off in water on the kitchen window sill which has been there for over 3 weeks now and still looks like it was put in there yesterday.

Its an astrantia Carolann. Reminds me of my honeymoon. ;D

Astrantia is one of the best plants, I think. Covered in flowers, lasts all summer, doesn't need staking, beautiful shape, goes with anything, reliable, disease free. ;D So why does it spoil it all with self-seeding everywhere, especially right in the middle of other plants Doesn't put me off though.

Lovely pics Susie and wow is that early!! Mine haven't even got buds on yet and the one that overwintered outdoors hasn't even unfurled its leaves! The fact it is growing at all is a miracle to me!

Ooh I love Rodgersia! Is that one aesculifolia? Unfortunately mine, which has pink flowers, hasn't flowerd for the last 2 years and again this year. Perhaps my bog garden isn't boggy enough for it.
