I sometimes get that Rosemother, I usually put it down to a link being broken [ie someone has removed the picture on their photobucket or whatever]. But these ones are definitely here, I can see them now.

I'm no expert, but could it be anything to do with pop ups being blocked? I have loads of those little x's when I get emails from the plant people [t&m etc], you have to click on something to allow pictures, they say it is to stop the site recognising your computer, or something like that.

If you get this problem with the square and the red x in E.mails you need to go VIEW then down to BLOCKED IMAGES

On here it's usually down to people deleting the photo from thier album and then the link is lost, but Jonah is also right it could be any of the other options she mentions

These image links are definitely not working. The most likely cause is that GW has moved or edited them within her Photobucket account.

For confirmation, right click on one of the red x's, and copy and paste the image url into your browser. This will produce a Photobucket link saying that the page cannot be found.
