I love the colours that the Hydrangia flower heads go this time of year, probably more than the true flower colour. Bought this little Aster, very delicate and look at that Hollyhocks struggling to give us a bit more colour, pics taken on Monday this week.

Wow what stunning photos and colours. Andy I love the acers especially the very old one and a lovely pic looking up through the branches. For what its worth I took this at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales a day or so ago......the sun came out as I was leaving. but I'm not much good with the camera. Wx

I think the autumn colours will hit a peak this week. The garden at work is looking gorgeous and here's some pics. Acer platanoides. These are kept small....almost grown as shrubs. And again but this time next to one of the cherries This is the stunning Acer palmatum 'okasaki' which was bright green last week And again Don't know the variety of this acer palmatum....but it looks nice Big lime tree (Tillia cordata) at the north end of the garden Miscanthus zebrinus in front of a glorious spindle tree (Euonymous alata) A weeping cherry not quite looking its best yet Left side of the garden Right side of the garden

I wish you could see this in the flesh so to speak or that I could have got a closer better photo, it's in next doors garden and I always envy it. So much so that I confess to nipping in and getting a couple of cuttings when he was away on holiday Shhhhhh
