My OH is wanting to use some of the plumes for internal decoration,when is the best time to remove the plumes.  |

I don't know when the best time to cut them is, but I have heard that it is a good idea to us some hair spray on the plumes to stop the seeds etc. falling out all over the place  |

I'd personally cut them now.....but they'd have to be dry otherwise they'll make a hell of a mess.
Beautiful pampas by the way.....seems a shame to take the blooms off such a gorgeous plant
