Some of my favourite plants are among the conifer groups. Firstly, this is a golden upright yew....taxus fastigiata aureo-marginata (used to be called cephalotaxus). Glorious golden foliage and very slow growing. This next one is one of my favourite Lawsons cypress. This is chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Beverlyensis'. It has the most delightful lime green colour.

Here's a couple more This is the foliage of the western red cedar or thuja plicata. It has the most delightfully aromatic leaves. A superb juniperus chinensis
