Here are some pics I took during the course of the season. I was browsing them earlier today and compared them to what the place looked like a couple seasons ago when we moved here. This is the second full gardening season I've spent here and am quite pleased with myself for the progress I've made, and looking forward to next year to see how the new stuff I've put in this season shows up. I've posted this in another thread, but Busy Bee suggested that I should start a new thread to see if anyone else has some "before and after" pics they might want to share. That would be very nice. The lake picture is of Lake Ontario which is just down the street from me, taken a few days ago and the pics of the primulas are just hangers-on that haven't yet realized that the season for them should have been over some time ago and they should be resting for next spring. So anyone else with some before and after pics to share? ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/berfamilyreunion/album?.dir=a2b3re2&.src=ph&store=&prodid=&.done=http%3a//ca.photos.yahoo.com/ph//my_photos

Wonderful pics TT, you have worked wonders in your gdn it all looks very lush and green, love the shape of the beds. If this is anything to go on your Clems and shrubs will be fab next year IMO Yahoo is easier than PB, however in PB you can post actual pictures which is great when you want to post just a few. Thanks for sharing B & A pics , might add some of mine too now

Hi TT
Great pics. It's always good to take before and after photo's isn't it. It really helps you measure progress and they're also good to look back at and think how rubbish it was before you started !
Cheers FA

Hi TT from drab and dreary to cheerful and alive in such a short space of time. Is it not immensely satisfying to see the old pics next to how things are now? Well done! Dutchy

Thanks everyone for the nice words. And yes, I do feel quite "chuffed" about what I've done so far. It's been great fun and hopefully next season will be just as much fun. And I'm really looking forward to my clems next season, Plocket.

Wow - what a transformation. Unfortunately, I don't have any before pics on my computer but these are some of the after. Basically there was nothing outside but a tarmac yard until Spring last year. I have one 2 gardening for wildlife awards for the garden, a Highly Commended last year and a Bronze this year. The first two pictures are from this year and the last two are from last year.
