Opened the lounge curtains about 8.45am and just look what was wandering around the garden. I know some people don't like them but as they are only occasional visitors it has made my day. ;D They are so beautiful. Pics not perfect but I was so anxious to get one before it disappeared. Px

OMG I bet you were surpised, fab you got a photo. Lets hope it stays being an occasional visitor, they can soon do some damage beautiful animals to see though

We saw a couple of deer last year but didn't manage to get a picture.
I think the wood surronding the back garden is a thoroughfare to somewhere the deer go as prior to moving in we got told that people had seen the occasional deer over the years.

That's pretty cool Rita. That must have really been a surprise. I'm assuming that they're protected. Hope it didn't do any damage though, or adds your garden to it's list of fast food delicatessens.

Just had a quick look around the garden and there doesn't seem to be any damage done, in fact there are hardly any hoof marks!
Perhaps I just caught it as it was passing by before any damage got done. ;D
