Lots of snow yesterday - measured 20cms...more on the way apparently - roads are treacherous. Little tree with the Christmas lights looked lovely yesterday evening.... RF

Oooh that looks brrrrrrrrrrrrrr RF! Love the lights on the tree I haven't ventured far down the garden today, but I was taken aback by what I saw in the bird bath ... first thought was - blackbird must have got deep frozen!!!!! On closer inspection (I did walk across the frozen grass to get this ) Weird but wonderful, never seen anything like it before in our garden, I never knew I could grow ice crystals ;D x Tig

OH has been out to inspect it ... he is baffled as to how it has formed - his one theory (so far) is that there was ice in the birdbath, then this great big heavy bird (probably a penguin ;D) landed and the ice shattered into shards, then somehow the whole bath froze again and left this 'sculpture' ... yeah right x Tig

This was my garden earlier today, as you can see we've had a lot of snow. All the footprints are of me because I went several times to the bird feeders. ;D

They say it's the worst snow we've had in 25years Geranium. If the Grandchildren were around we'd definately have a snowman but I think the neighbours would send for the men in white coats if I started building one by myself. ;D
