It looks stunning when it is fresh SO - has it melted now? We had a light dusting which has almost completely disappeared now that the sun is out.

Your garden's looking good SO. Snow always makes a pretty picture, but I still don't like it.

I always think that snow looks lovely from inside a warm house, but it's not the same if you have to go out when you don't want to!!! ;D

Thank you all for the nominations Sorry Amo we don't do B&B but if your in the area just drop in anytime. I just like sharing all the pics with you all, and yes I do appreciate that I live in a beautiful area just wish the government hadn't opened this right to roam as now people don't stick to the footpaths and just wonder where they want to and upset the animals and leave gates open.

By eck Bigs - them were the days!! I remember the snow that deep, and the spirit of folk who would wrap up well and dig themselves out! My dad had snow chains which fastened around the car tyres with leather straps and buckles - wonder if they still make them? x Tig

Some icy ones I almost forgot due to the amount of snow in the above post Lovely Dutchy Bigs I vaguely remember 1967! My dad had car chains too. I guess we just haven't needed them here in recent years. I remember driving through a narrow gap between walls of snow going to work. Can't remember for sure what year it was but think it may have been January 1987. We were snowed in for a week with no power for 3 days. Me and OH played scrabble by candlelight and I won EVERY GAME!! (even when I tried to lose ;D)
