Now I can't take any credit for this, but I thought it was so unusual that I just HAD to take a photo.

One of the chaps at the allotment site (actually he's the site secretary) is involved with a group who show Tulips (and I believe try to breed new varieties - it's all abit beyond me!!!)

He had this growing, which I believe he said was called General Hay, the colour is something else - sort of brown tinged with copper.

And this is the man in question........after Tulips he does grow Veg!!!
