I know I should but the crowds make me stay away. This easter weekend they had over 100.000 visitors. Ouch.

Just found one of the rules and that it is up me to allow comments to my postings. Feel free!! Answer back on any of my postings if you feel like it (warts & all) Afterall I am only another 'hammer chewer' gardener and can take all that comes I often find it can be good humus or should that be humour? So if it is good enough for my plants it is good enough for me TG Edit; Hope I have this in the correct section

Visited the Botanical Gardens (Royal Botanical Gardens, to be precise) over the weekend. It's just about 45 minutes west of Toronto. It was a long weekend for us - Queen Victoria Day on Monday - and the Gardens had their annual Lilacs Exhibition. They boast of having the largest collection of lilacs in the world, and since no one has challenged them on their boast yet I guess there must be some truth to it. It was a lovely day; just right to be outdoors in a garden that is "manicured" in parts with the lovely fragrance of lilacs in the air, and quite "natural" and wooded in other parts; some rather large and interesting trees in both the "natural" and "manicured" areas. Quite a few birds too, but with the trees and the bush, you heard them more often than you saw them and I really couldn't get any worthwhile pictures of them. Anyway, I still haven't mastered the art of the photobucket yet, so I'll have to just settle for a Yahoo link. Hope it's not too much of a bother for the folks who are used to photobucket. ca.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/berfamilyreunion/album?.dir=/c1abscd&.view=t

A quick question. Does the link also allow anyone who clicks on it/follow it to see/access the other albums I have on my computer? I hope not since many are family photos. When I click on it I go to the album I want to show, but I can also access other albums. I'm wondering if I can do that because I'm on my own computer, or if anyone/everyone else can do the same thing. Someone please let me know.

I don't know if it makes any difference TT but I am currently logged into my own Yahoo account and can see a total of 14 albums on your Yahoo page, all of which appear to be either exterior shots of your house and garden or gardens you have visited. BTW I can still see the same 14 albums having just signed out. Hope this helps.

Thanks LL. But I guess by accessing the album through the link I've posted, people can access other albums but not all. I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with that. Maybe there's something I can do to make sure one link is to one album to control things a bit better. I'll have to take a look at that and figure something out.

Hi TT
If Spruance doesn't know then I certainly don't, but I only once looked things up at Yahoo and I wasn't too impressed - possibly because I didn't understand what I was supposed to do.
However I use Photobucket and there you can tick on Private and stop people looking at other stuff that you have uploaded.
