Oh bless him!!! LP found our first baby frog yesterday afternoon - he was sunning himself on the side of the water garden and looked minute compared to the little fat taddies. I don't think he's ready to leave yet though.
Do you regularly have toads in your garden LL?

I only occasionally see the toads Plocket, there is one really cute dark brown one who likes to bury itself in one of my pots and then I had one living in one of the grow houses last summer but I do have lots of frogs in and around the pond and they can get quite noisy croaking in the evenings. Oh how lovely! I really do hope that one day one of our frogs will stay. The problem is that there isn't a great deal of shade near the water garden, unless they make an effort to jump out and sit in the Margi bed. Then they've got to climb back up again to get to the water I'd love to have a toad but I don't think our little garden is right for one. Mind you I'd love a hedgie too. One day.....

Toads don't mind space..... they just invade it and blend in. You hardly ever see them even when they are out there in numbers.
Yours must be a little girl indeed ...likes pink eh ;D
Plocket go on then, build the poor little hoppers a stepladder.

They had one last year and didn't use it!!! The can easily hop from one pot to the next - there are enough of them around the water garden, and at different levels so they are like steps. I don't know - the frogs around here must just be fussy!!!
