 Those look great Andy, mine are starting to come out but they are only about 3 foot high, what have you been feeding them on? Carol.

Nothing ! Absolutely nothing at all ! We planted them in post, waited for them to germinate and then plonked then in the ground. No feeding, no watering (since they went in the ground - no need !), no nothing !

I haven't been able to get on for the last few days and I have missed the wonderful flower photos.
What gorgeous sunflowers Fat Andy. Are you entering them in the competeion for the tallest Sunflower then?

No, they're not in the competition because I have no idea what seed I used. I just put them on here because they are the most cheerful thing in my garden at the moment and make me smile every time I look at them.

OOH I do like a big one (I'M SORRY!!!! but somebody had to say it...) ;D
My dwarf sunflowers have all been demolished by snails...but I have one tall one surviving, despite evrything that the weather has thrown at it...it's about the same height as yours FA if the fence is 6'....no flower yet tho. Lovely photo
