i had 3 of those metal obelisks bought for me for mothers day last year, the green type at wilkinsons theyare a bit of a problem at the start, i tie string round the bottom part till the plants reach the first rung. i know what i'm on about any-way ;D

Me too (the Liatris I mean !) I have some in my front garden - they are great. Had some white ones as well but they have disappeared??
