I'm getting there...I think - well maybe not - it isn't some kind of Clianthus is it?? RF Nope. It's a tropical climber and extinct in the wild (so i was told by a very knowlegeable college lecturer) Before i knew what it was, i had one in the palm house i used to look after. As it didn't look too happy, i threw it away I was then told by the above lecturer just how rare it was !!!!

That looks like a Bergenia flower...if not, what about Peltophyllum peltatum ?
