They don't come along very often, but every now and again you get one day that is absolutely wonderful, memorable for all the right reasons and today was one of those days and I hope you don't mind me sharing. The day started off in Rochester where we went for Sunday lunch as we had the in-laws down). It just so happened that the Royal Engineers were having a service at the Cathedral in remembrance of the Battle of Britain which was lovely to watch as we sat at the Arrow pub, soaking up the sun. Rochester's a lovely place to live and on days like this it just seems perfect. After that we moved on to the Museum of Kent Life in Cobtree which was lovely in the late summer sunshine, and if you haven't visited then please do. It's a good day out. Finally, when we got home I took the stabilizers off my boy's bike for the first time and he was riding it properly. Both me and him were chuffed as anything (call it my Kramer vs Kramer moment), but it really represents a big step and I hope you don't mind me sharing it with you; www.flickr.com/photos/cgirvine

Many thanks for the replies. The pics have probably changed by now as I've uploaded some new pics, so would like to ask a mod if they can delete this thread. Thanks!!!
