One Vision by Queen!!
I don't know how but for some reason, instead of the songs I put on my "faves" playlist, I now have all the Queen songs that I put on my lappy... I don't believe it was my own doing either.

Dunno if you've read 'Good Omens' (by Niel Gamen & Terry Pratchett)...they had a theory in the book that any 'tape' left in a car stereo (before CDs obviously!) would inevitably morph into 'Best of Queen'.....

do you remember Dave Edmunds used to play backing for Jeff Beck and vice versa (i think i've got the names right).
one of them had a single out which if i could remember what it was would go in my top 100. I'm now going on a search to try and find it !!!
;D
Edit it wasn't Jeff Beck, it was Nick Lowe ......... so I'm getting closer !!
Edit 2:
BINGO !!!!!!!!!!! Cruel to be kind !
I do love google.

"I hear you knocking" was one of my earliest buys, and a favourite from the juke box at our youth club. I preferred the B side - black something or other? - come on MrsKP - google that for me. Eldest daughter has just come in to show me the Xmas pressies she's bought! OMG, must be from ex husband's side of the family.........

I'm sitting working (yes, honest - just popped in for a quick visit) and I'm listening to a playlist which has got loads of 80's electro music on it - Depeche Mode, OMD, Soft Cell, Ultravox, Human League etc.
Brill !
