I notice many of my neighbours have Union Jacks and similar flags flying in their gardens Being a copy cat I have erected a flag from The Freisland Islands in the Nederlands - anyone else have a flag flying?

I don't think I've ever seen the tricolour in an Irish garden except before a big match ... when it's more likely to be draped out of a window ... cheers ...

We have a big England flag flying for summer matches but I take it down in the autumn when the birds start to return to the feeders because I don't want to scare them off

You're right - I didn't notice Marjorie I wish I had more space for bird feeders AND the flag, but that's the way it goes

I only bought it this year and it has romped ahead as you can see I am trailing it over the Arbour - my dear God Mother was called Marjorie so I bought it in her memory

Only just saw this Jenny ;D Holiday blues eh? Or are you going to get yourself a nice wooden boat to sail over there ( It is too big for your bike I think ) And no no flags as we only get ours out at special times ( Queensday 29 april,W2 commemoration and liberation day 4 and 5 May.)

Each time I see the flag Dutchy I smile as have so many happy memories of this lovely place
Yesterday bought a UK flag as the shops are selling them now cos of the rugby - will find somewhere to put it
