Hi LS, How is it in the world of gardeners? Just wondered how your job was going? Have you got stuff to do in the coming months? sara

Welcome! Nice to see you - you seem to have been off the boards generally for a while but I hope life is treating you well and that we will get to see more of you if you have time.

Thanks for the welcome!! I have been busy in the past few months ... busy having a lovely time, falling in love and generally getting used to family life. My new partner has 3 daughters (aged 13, 11 & 6) which is just fab as far as I am concerned!! We have been away at Disneyland Paris for half term. We returned exhausted but having had a blast! Talk about a change of circumstances, though!! I am in the process of moving to Suffolk and return to London once a week for my RHS course, which ends in February. I am also transferring my business to Suffolk and have my first prospective client meeting on Friday, which is very exciting. I will also be involved with the planting of a large garden design in Suffolk later in the month. So there is some work in the pipeline but I am expecting to rebuild from scratch once my course has finished and I am in Suffolk full time. So life has very much moved on for me!! Not sure how often I will be posting here, but there are lots of familiar faces and names - I read the Halloween party thread, which sounds like a blast. Had a quiet toast to absent friends - poor Bolly. I find it hard to party since his demise!

Well thats some very nice news Lord Steve - congratulations! Your life has certainly changed in every way. Now do you think you can make your business take off big time and give Fat Andy a job? ( we need to get him out of the tax office) He is very good at getting Lilac stumps out and has now had a days training with a chainsaw chopping down trees - although a bit slow when it comes to planting clems! LLx

OMG Lord Steve - when did Bolly pass away??? I'm so saddened by the news. I must go and find something black to wear..... I'm so glad that life is being so good to you, and long may it last. Sunny Suffolk hey? There's already some borders here from Suffolk I think! Continued good luck with your course and that life will continue to be good to you. See you here soon hopefully! Hia LL! FA is "a bit slow when it comes to planting clems" That's the biggest understatement I've seen on these boards! It would be nice if he could get a nice new job though. Perhaps he could replace Bolly? ?
