OH and I have different ideas about what a "round" of sandwiches is. I won't tell you which of us thinks what, but could you please tell me what exactly a round of sandwiches is - how many slices of bread. Many thanks! ;D

In our house, we say single round, or double round ... ie one slice or two.
My lunch is often two double rounds of cheese on toast ...

What's that got to do with sandwiches Dee? ? ;D Apparently it's one of the dictionary definitions of a 'sandwich' slang term and used as a noun - sorry if I didn't make it clear enough. |

I'm with the 'a round of bread is a single slice' brigade...we never say 'a round of sandwiches' in our house...we'd just say 'a sandwich' which means usally 2 slices of bread with filling.
I can't possibly comment on Dee's threesomes as I've been laughing so much I haven't been able to breathe in.......gasp!
